The class will be taught by Niccolò, Isabella’s son, who learned the art of making “Pici” from both his mother and his grandmother, carrying on the cherished family tradition. Afterwards, indulge in a buffet-style “antipasti”, followed by a delicious Tuscan dinner complemented by the delightful house wine from our farmhouse Cretaiole. During the meal, you will savor the “Pici” you’ve crafted, paired with two delicious sauces, a typical Tuscan main dish, and one of our favorite’s desserts… tiramisù!

During a small aperitif held in the gardens of La Moscadella, you will have the opportunity to meet a local artist who will teach you essential phrases and words to make the most of your trip to Italy. Italian and English have many words that sound similar but differ greatly in meaning. During this meeting, common mistakes will be revealed and how to avoid them, so you can impress the locals! Additionally, you will learn about the magical places you are visiting and the must-try foods of this area. You will walk away able to have small conversations in Italian, order food, and learn what to expect if you order a “latte” or a “peperoni pizza.”

This is a special venture into Moscadella by one a one-of-a-kind wine experience! This winery has a holistic approach to winemaking. The ancient “Romitorio,” purchased by our family over 30 years ago, is located just below Pienza and houses a fascinating archaeological site. Our family has lovingly renovated this place, transforming it into an extraordinarily beautiful and spiritual haven. Niccolò, Isabella’s and Carlo’s son, will personally escort you through these captivating caverns, explaining the significance of its features, artwork, and location.
